As usual I came to the site today just to "remember" and a thought came to my mind. I never realised just how much of a "teacher" my Dad really was. Let me explain; whenever he and I would be together we'd talk about something or nothing, but the one thing that ALWAYS happened was he would take the opposite stance/opinion of me! So if I said "x" he'd say "y", if I said "apple" he'd say "orange". What this did was create a 'debate' scenario. Who knows if he was doing it on purpose or not, but because of it I was constantly challanged with him to defend and explain my thoughts opinions, this is a beneficial skill. I just never really looked at it that way before, I've never appreciated it until now. Thanks Dad!
